Dear Parents

 

Thank you to all who came to the open evening last Thursday and to those who stayed for the Open Forum.  We found this a very useful meeting and are now writing to follow up some of the points raised.

 

 

With regard to improving after school activities provision we need the following information.

 

 

1. What sort of after school activities would you like to see provided?
2. What activities do your children take part in out of school e.g Beavers etc
3. Can you help with transporting others to these clubs?
4. Can you help run a club after school e.g 6 week block of sewing, computer club etc?

 

Communication:  To address the issue of letters not arriving home, we propose to send letters via the youngest members of the family as these can be put into the child’s folders by staff.  In addition we will set up an e-mail group for those who wish to receive letters electronically too.  Most letters will also be posted on the school web site.

Homework:  Staff will be discussing ways forward with issues raised about homework in the next weeks.
