Class 2 Dens

This term class 2 have been busy building dens. We used old blankets, tables and chairs to build a den in the staff room. Outside we built a den in the wood using logs, plastic sheets and string.
Once the dens had been built we played in them and wrote stories about the dens.
We had to take them down at the end of the day but we had lots of fun.
These are some pictures of our dens and some of the stories we wrote.

One miserable Tuesday morning I went to Adam?s house we built a den with string out of his drawer.

The walls were put through window sand the roof tied to the bed our door was at the back of the den because all the other doors are sealed me and Adam worked as a team because we were best friends. In our den we there was a TV and a PS2 and a PC. Adam and me put up posters of Grand Theft Auto and other pictures. Adam and me didn?t need a torch because the PS2 gives light out.

When I had to go we took the den down and we never built it again.

Adam and me were sad because he lost the string. When I got home I tried to build another den with someone, but there wasn?t anyone so I built one by myself instead. It was a great den!

One miserable morning Miss Roberts let us build a den in the corner of the classroom. We built the den with covers, staples and sticky tape. It was fun building the den.
It was only for year 3?s. We had a bell and a secret door. We could see the year 4 through a little gap in the wall.
When we played in the den the roof fell down. The boys had a secret light. We did not have enough time to rebuild it. It looked messy when the roof was off.
The Y4s were spying on us so we will scare them. I hope the Y4s never get in. Well have to wait and see!

On a miserable Tuesday morning miss Roberts let us build a den the year 4's started building we used blankets, chairs, tables, pegs and selotape. We had a kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a TV room and a garden. We made it in the staff room mainly in the corner.

The den is fab! Everyone has their own computer and there's also a popcorn machine with a chocolate fountain. There's a sweetie machine with a long zip wire. There's an ice-ring and a swimming pool (with a diving board) and 13 horses. Also there's a massive trampoline with a slide down the other side. There's a water slide and a big wheel.

But one day we came out to play on the big wheel we all stopped where was the big wheel? We all knew who had got it except Flora who didn't know about the big C gang. We all told flora about the big C gang then our plan really got in to action.

We made a plan that we would tell them that was our big wheel so we all set off to get the big wheel back. When we got there we told them that was our big wheel and to give it us back. They said we'll give it you back as long as we can be in your den, OK we said but we are not bullies and were friends with everyone. We all went back to the den and started telling ghost stories. Just when we were going to sleep Janie said but there?s not really ghost's is there? No! We all shouted. Whoooooooo or maybe there is.
