Welcome to Wilberlee School Web site

Enrichment activities and Clubs

Children have the opportunity to experience a wide range of activities at school and we provide a very broad and balanced curriculum. This page shows some of the opportunities we give the children.

Our football club meet regularly after school and is open to boys and girls. A professional coach runs the sessions.

We are a very musical school and children can learn a variety of instruments.
All children in class 2 are learning to play the violin as part of the Wider Opportunities initiative to give more children the chance to learn an instrument in school.

Children in class 3 learnt to play Samba to broaden their experiences of different instruments.

We use lots of outside professionals to broaden opportunities in all areas of the curriculum. Class 1 had lots of fun learning the basic skills needed to play tennis.

Here, children in class 2 are making fabric flowers from old t-shirts. They used the same technique as people in the past used to make rag rugs.
