Freezing cold
Snowball round as a ball
Hard as rock
Difficult to push
Great fun
Lots of laughter
Wet numb hands
Hood up
Against the bitter wind
Whistling around the field
What a fabulous day

Timothy Year three

The Enormous Snowball

Small soft snowball
Pushed and rolled
Down the watery, icy field
Getting bigger and bigger
Cold, wet hands
Inside damp, freezing gloves
As it got larger
We struggled to push
Too heavy to lift
Though we tried
Joined it to another snowball
Now it was massive
Crunchy and hard
We felt cold and tired
But it was great fun
